About Mike Patterson

Mike Patterson graduated in 1976 from Marquette University with degrees in accounting and finance. He started his career with Price Waterhouse & Co., then one of the Big Eight accounting firms, and was awarded a CPA in 1977.

For the past 25 years, Mike has worked in the financial services industry. The majority of that time has been devoted to exploring ways for financial institutions to market their products and services to individuals (and businesses) with an emphasis on helping individuals reach their long-term financial goals.

From 1980 to 1994, Mike worked in the stock brokerage industry in a variety of marketing, financial planning, product management and executive roles. Since then, he has focused on developing financial educational products and services for financial and educational institutions and his company, Financial Wisdom Marketing Services, Inc., has been offering web site content and related services.
